  • 1 8 oz pkg Reames frozen noodles
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 4 oz can mushrooms, chopped and drained
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce

directions

1. Heat 6 cups of water to boiling. Add Reames Frozen Egg Noodles and stir until separated. Simmer 20-30 minutes; drain.
2. In large skillet, melt butter. Mix 2 tbsp. of the melted butter with the noodles. Add ground beef, onions, salt, garlic salt, and pepper to skillet and saute until meat is brown; drain. Add 1 cup (4 oz.) of cheese to meat mixture and heat until cheese melts. Stir in drained mushrooms. Stir meat mixture into the noodles. Pour into greased 8"x8"x2" baking dish. Top with can of tomato sauce. Bake in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
